At the beginning, supporting someone else may seem manageable but as conditions change and progress you may notice you're taking on more tasks. For others it can happen suddenly, and life can change overnight.

Wherever you are in your caring journey, we are here for you.

  • Support as your caring role changes 

Caring doesn’t stay the same, we're on hand to help through your caring journey. We're also able to support those who are new to caring.

  • Planning for emergencies 

Many carers worry what will happen to their loved one if they fall ill. We can help you put a plan in place in case of an emergency.

  • Apply for grants 

One of our experienced support officers will be there to support you through the grant application process where you can apply for things like white goods, tablets or similar electronics to support your caring role.

  • Help with employment 

We understand the complexities of juggling work and caring and can help you through this.

  • Help to look after yourself 

We understand the barriers many carers face looking after yourself. We can help you find the right support.

  • Support you with technology

We know that carers can lack confidence in accessing support online or using technology to help with caring. We can help.

  • Quick and accessible information

We can point you to online sources of support and post or email you information regarding caring.

The Cruse Bereavement Care Freephone National Helpline is staffed by trained bereavement volunteers, who offer emotional support to anyone affected by bereavement.
