Grant application and financial guidance

Many people reduce their hours of work or have to give up their jobs to look after their relatives or friends. You may also face extra costs that come with caring.

It can be difficult to know what support is available and where to turn. Our trained support officers can help you find financial support available to you and guide you through application processes.

We have been able to help carers access support towards the cost of household appliances, breaks, driving lessons, new tech and utility bills.

I applied for a holiday grant as we had not been on a holiday for nearly 10 years. We were able to put £300 towards a 5 day break at the seaside, in an adaptive chalet. As a family we bonded so well and had such a happy time. We were so grateful for this grant, getting away is very financially difficult.
