It can be challenging to juggle work alongside looking after someone. We’re on hand to offer practical advice and explain your workplace rights, at any stage of your career and whilst you are seeking a new role.

The Employment Officer was incredibly helpful and brilliant. They listen and push you gently in the right direction. They are encouraging and supportive.

Our Employment Officer can support you in various ways, whether you are in employment or seeking a new career.

Who can access our employment service?

Our free employment service is open to anyone over 18 years old, that is currently looking after someone, or has previously cared for someone.

Here's some answers to common questions about our employment service.

Your first session can take up to an hour so we can understand how best to support you. After this we will tailor the following sessions to suit your needs. 

You will be given the space to talk through anything that is concerning you. We will support you by providing you with useful advice, guidance and information.

We understand it can be difficult to find the time when you are juggling work and a caring role. We will do our very best to be flexible and try to offer you a session that suits you.
