Hidden Carers

Many carers do not identify themselves as such, and are known as “hidden carers”. The Carers' Centre works with local communities in Bath and North East Somerset to identify these “hidden carers” so they can benefit from services available to them. 

By working closely with GPs, community health teams and hospitals, support services for carers are improving. Some GP surgeries and hospitals now offer drop-in services for carers and annual health checks for carers are offered at GP surgeries.
