Are you a parent carer?

Parent Carers Aiming High was launched by the Carers’ Centre in 2009 and is a successful and expanding group of parents all of whom care for a child (under 25) needing additional support due to physical, learning or medical problems. The group has an active management committee as well as parents taking on roles as Parent Representatives on strategic boards and in focus groups.

The Carers’ Centre enables the group to work actively with local authorities to ensure better services for disabled children and their families.
