There are 6 million carers in the UK. They care for another person and do not get paid for it, which saves the Government a lot of money.

- The number of carers in the UK is going to go up to more than 13 million over the next 10 years.
- 3 million carers go out to work as well as doing their caring work.
- Some carers do not think they are a carer.
